Mr. Popular

During my school days I was quite the popular guy, known for my mischievous escapades and other activities all except scholastic. 🙂 Don’t get me wrong I wasn’t the High School Jock, and no it didn’t spread to the ladies. Sadly 😦 Just still have guys coming up to me and saying “Ah Aiya..” and I’m like “Don’t call me that!!!”

Coming down from my ego trip and getting back to the post.. lately I’ve been getting a wee bit more attention from very unexpected mediums. A few weeks back yours truly got featured on the Sunday Leader. No I’m not proud of it, as they obviously did not obtain permission prior to publishing it, and the article is not what you want your son to be featured on the Sunday Papers, if you get what I mean.

Moving along I walk in to Uni to get my last years results transcripts, and they are getting ready for this years convocation. Lo and behold.. guess whose picture they’ve used as a sample for students to select what type of picture they want for their catalog or what ever you call it. The poor graduates are left to decide whether they want a single shot of me standing tall with this murky looking library/study as the backdrop (yuk.. so cliche), my group shot with wifey, me getting the certificate OR all 3!! A definite bargain I must say. 🙂

It was quite a funny experience.. them to be staring at the pics, turn around and see me staring at them staring at the pics. Maybe that explains why they looked like they saw a ghost. 🙂 Which slowly turned into the poking and pointing and whispering “OMG isn’t that… HIM?” common action after coming into contact with Sirasa Superstars.

Ok maybe you have to take this post with a pinch of salt. But we are allowed to dream aren’t we? 🙂

Eitherway.. I am not exaggerating on how proud I am of Cindy whose graduating today! Congrats Baby!! xoxo
