Avurudu at Chaar~Max’s

Kiri Ithiraveema @ Chaar~Max's

Hey folks, this is rather late.. but never too late I suppose. πŸ™‚

Happy Sinhala & Tamil New Year to all of you who celebrate, even to those who don’t I’m sure you enjoyed the break from work. πŸ™‚

Our Kiri Ithiraveema is rather modern to say the least, substituting the dhara lipa and mati hattiya.. but it’s still homely, this was the saucepan we used to kiri uthurawanna when we first moved into the upstairs of Cindy’s house.

Oh and yes.. if your still wondering.. I actually got up at 4.30 in the morning to carry out the rituals with wifey! Then crashed at ammi’s for Kiribath at 5.50am, as we were too groggy to even think of making any.

Will get back to you guys with the vacation post. Still too groggy at work, not enough time to recouperate after the trip. Meanwhile.. hope the year ahead overflows (kinda like our little milk pot) with all that means Happiness to you!
