Elephant Pass vs Colombo

January 9, 2009

Its one of those posts. 🙂

Listening to a Aruna Priyadarshana Yapa doing a bit of a Sarah Palin last night, was beyond pathetic. Each question asked, for eg How come the govt is not in control of the situation in Col? The chap just kept blatantly denying any involvement of the Govt, saying they were personal friends despite differences in opinions blah blah. Even managed to slip out the fact that “they could, if they wanted to”. Reassured my faith in the system.

Some might have called his paper a gossip column but with all due respect was one of the few papers with balls. So here’s to you Mr. W! R.I.P!

As for Elephant Pass… word is it has fallen and MR will spend no time announcing it to the world! What we lack are the true stories behind these victories. Of the fallen heroes and their heroic deeds. Proper reports of casualties on both sides. Just to make all these victories more believable.

Tribute to all the divisions moving on! Just wondering after Mulativ what next?

Battle Map for those who are interested.

this is a horrible situation that is happening on your lovely island.
The events have bothered me this week more than the past 10 years.
I’m telling my sri lankan friends to take care.
some northern Americans care and are hoping for peace.
