Kilinochchi liberated -> Blast at Air Force HQ

January 2, 2009

Is this a sign of things to come?

Btw : This is by no means a degration of our Valiant Soldiers efforts. We just need to be more aware of the “bigger” picture. Not the one that is being painted for us.

what is the bigger picture ? that ltte murderers will continue to explode bombs? sure they will do that even when they are reduced to a handful . so?
after all there are lot of murderers (not just ltte) they are no different and will continue to kill.
(that is a pic everyone gets btw)
murderers should be treated like murderers, instead of appeased with political power. that is what peaceniks do not get.

Glad you understood the bitter truth.

What is been painted is that the war is almost over now that killinochchi is fallen. We must know that the most intense battles would be fought in Mullativu. That is where all our efforts should be directed, rather than trying to make this a political advantage before the ‘unwanted’ elections.

    good point chaarmax.

Be vigilant. If you see an unattended parcel, bag or anything suspicions that sort without an owner, give it to me.

all in all, the blast today was quite pathetic. what a waste. I dont know waht they do to brainwash these guys but…man…sigh…

The bigger picture, as you rightly point out, is likely to follow the pattern of the East. The installation of a pliant militia that extorts and terrorises the popuilace but which will deliver the votes at an election. This has already started in Jaffna.

For a while things will look relatively stable. After a while there will be militias of all stripes running around killing each other and anyone else that they fancy. A Balkanisation so to speak (or possibly a Lebanonisation) and a situation that will be far worse that what was we started with.

When the government finances run out and it becomes difficult to keep the army in the field expect a newer and more violent eruption.

More like a sign of how things have always been πŸ˜‰

The LTTE murdered 2 people and injured some more. But that’s about it. They failed as usual beyond a momentary fart for their propaganda machine.

I doubt most people were scared. On the contrary the blast might have created an easy momentary solidarity between people in non war zone areas and the solders risking getting killed or getting maimed 24/7 out there in the Wanni.

Though I think the general reaction was how to deal with the traffic flow. In the end, just another bomb blast. We’ve been used to it for a long long time.

may i know where that pic you ppl are talking about is painted?

    reality-
we sri lankans know k’nochi was captured .
we know that ltte murderers is not finished .
we know that they will continue to bomb even after they lose all territory

talk to ppl, listen to all media (including state media) , etc . nobody is hiding those facts
( you guys are pathetic trying to imply that we do not know all that. and government is hiding all that )

so who is hiding anything ? or painting pics?

fact that we know all that does not and should not make our celebration or our appreciation any less. bc what happened yesterday was a great achievement.

it is peacenik terrorist apologists who cover up , ignore , and when they have the power censor, what is not palatable to them . ( chief among them the undoubted fact that ltte is murderous and that any one proposing to give them power in return for “peace” are disgusting morally bankrupt individuals, and naive to boot )

it is exactly bc we know the reality, that we should continue to fight ltte murderers. and their parrots. and appreciate all those who contribute to that fight.

and that includes political appreciation, as in all democracies. after all if you get blamed for set backs you should get credit for wins.

dream on in your fantasy world.
at that rate you would be the richest, handsomest, best etc man/women in the world and all your opponents will end up in the gutter. in fact i predict that will be so and you will not even notice the other patients in the ward. πŸ™‚

  11. January 5, 2009 3:35 pm

  12. January 5, 2009 4:27 pm

Of course not, I see no point in arguing with the deranged.

  13. January 5, 2009 10:42 pm

more like you do not have any arguments at all πŸ™‚

but then in your position unable to not give one example of “who is hiding anything ? or painting pics?”
you have to run away. πŸ™‚
